WHO SHOULD APPLY TO BE AN AEE LISTER
Only unique, Central Kentucky organizations related to the restaurant, arts, cultural or entertainment venues may be Listers. (View our coverage area.) Franchises and chain organizations do not normally qualify.

The initial concept and continuing purpose of ArtsEatsEtc.com has been to promote places and events in Central Kentucky which appeal to the largest possible segment of our population.

As a result, ArtsEatsEtc.com does not accept Listers associated with, or connected to, political, sectarian, religious or socially controversial organizations, ideologies and causes.

While individual staff members of ArtsEatsEtc.com are free to follow their own consciences regarding such matters, as an organization we believe the above policy is in the best interest of both ArtsEatsEtc.com and the public we’ve chosen to serve.

WHY BE AN AEE LISTER
The AEE e-publication is currently being delivered to over 2,700 subscribers over each Wednesday's noon hour, and the AEE website receives approximately 30,000 webpage visits per month. And we're growing daily!

ArtsEatsEtc.com Listers represent what’s remarkable about our Central Kentucky home. Those who are selected as Listers communicate their up-coming events, current specials and unique stories to our subscribers.

When an organization qualifies as a Lister, AEE goes to work creating a personalized webpage for that organization, using the logo, general information and images the Lister provides. Then AEE assigns a User ID and Password unique to that Lister so they can directly access and update their weekly information.

EQUITABLE LISTER VISIBILITY
In an attempt to give all Listers an equal chance for immediate viewing by subscribers, the e-newsletter is designed with the three Lister categories (Arts, Eats and Etc) arranged left-to-right across the screen. Additionally, within each category, the Lister "order of appearance" is randomly re-sequenced as each e-newsletter is delivered to a successive subscriber, giving every Lister a fair opportunity to appear at the top of its category list.

AEE LISTER SERVICE IS CURRENTLY FREE
Right now we are offering our Lister Service free to those who qualify and want to try it. We will not start charging our very nominal fee for at least a few months, at which time we will give our AEE Listers a 30-day notice before commencing with such charges, along with the chance to opt in or out. Listers are under no obligation to continue. So, in a sense, the sooner your organization begins, the longer you would be able to take advantage of our service at no cost to you.

LISTER RESPONSIBILITIES AND UPDATE SCHEDULE
It's important that all Lister information (headlines, menus, schedules, specials, etc.) be kept current. Listers will be able to update their information on their Lister update pages anytime during the week except after 1:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and anytime on Wednesdays. During this brief period of inaccessibility, we're updating the e-newsletter for processing and broadcast, and preparing our AEE system to receive Lister updates for the following week's e-newsletter. Since all updates remain non-public until the subsequent Wednesday broadcast, Listers may modify their update pages as often as they wish during the Thursday through Tuesday update period.
